You don’t have to be an artist
You don't have to know what you're doing.
You don't have to make something impressive.
You don't even have to know what you came to make.
There's room here to experiment, play, follow a feeling, and see what happens.
Creativity isn't something you have to earn.
People have said some things…
-
“I didn’t realize how much I needed that.”
— Paint & Release Participant
-
“I forgot I was even painting.”
— Paint & Release Participant
-
“I’ve been here three times, and every time I leave feeling lighter and I sleep like a baby.”
— Paint & Release Participant
Come make something with us.
Paint & Release grew from a simple belief:
Creativity can help us reconnect with ourselves.
When there are no expectations, no judgment, and no pressure to create something "good," painting becomes less about the outcome and more about the experience.
My role isn't to teach you how to paint or tell you what your artwork means.
It's to create a safe, supportive environment where you can slow down, explore freely, and let your own expression unfold.
Every person brings something different into the space, and every experience is unique. My role is simply to guide and hold that space with care.
Paint & Release Co. is a creative experience designed to support self-expression and exploration. It is not therapy or a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.
